It has been said that “Golf is a game of history because everyone who plays is walking in the steps of those who have come before.” If that is true, then knowing and understanding the history of the game allows us to honor those greats who have inspired others by their play and to appreciate the playing fields upon which they performed. Today we approach a time where golf clubs everywhere are trying to recover their individual histories. The reasons for doing so range from a desire to restore a course to the original design intent of the architect who created it to publishing a book honoring a significant milestone in their history to many another reason.
Golden Age Research was founded to provide the means to find the missing answers to the questions being asked that will allow the successful accomplishment of those goals. Simply put, we are here to give you back your precious lost history…
